    fun at first
This toy is really cool but you can be be bored with it fast. You have to press really hard to see the objects which eliminates some things. It is cool when you see the object magnified but there is only so much you can magnify and then once you do you’re done with it.

    So cool!
We have had a riot playing with this toy. Amazing ability to magnify even the smallest things. Would definitely recommend this toy for all kids 6 years and up. Younger can enjoy this toy with the help of a parent. A must for all households.

    Okay
I had originally intended on getting my 9 year old son a microscope for Christmas last year, but this was new and the hot new toy so I decided to try this instead. I wish I hadn’t. Firstly, you plug it into your tv, fine. But that means bringing anything you want to look at to your tv as well, also not a huge deal but something we didn’t really consider before purchasing and it can be a hassle if he wants to look at bugs or something. Also you have to be pretty much on whatever you want to see for the lens to even notice it. The slightest distance away and it might as well be invisable. It’s made durable enough, but could have been better. My biggest complain would just have to be not being able to see much with it. The most fun we had was touching it to our skin and hair and looking at that magnified, everything else was lame.

    what is it???
disgustingly fun!! the better/newer the tv/monitor the better the picture quality. we love it!!

    Eww, Eyeball veins…cool!!
This toy is great! My dad bought it for himself and I plan on getting one soon too. I borrowed his, and I was checking everything out, and it made it way to my face, and I was amazed and grossed out at the same time..I put it up to the corner of my eye while I looked the opposite way to the TV and I got to see all the veins on my eye really up close..It was awesome..very fun for both kids and adults.

    Stepper
Its ok, I do like it, except seems a bit wobbly. For the price it’s ok.

    The little stepper that could
This stepper has been a very worthwhile piece of equipment, knock on wood.

It has very smooth action, the foot pedals are sturdy, and it is quiet! The handles have no resistance, but they do assist in balance, and they keep your arms moving. There might be a way to add weights to them. The handles do fall to the ground if you’re not careful. The stepper can be adjusted for resistance and you can vary the size of your steps easily to vary your workout. It is a good workout for the lower body and great for a room where others might be watching TV at the same time since it makes no noise. It can be moved from one room to another fairly easily.

    Broke 7 months later
I bought this in April and it broke in October. Not worth what I paid for it. The pulley is broken.

    Well Worth the Investment
If you’re looking for a good work out and don’t have a lot of space to keep exercise equipment, this is the machine for you. My whole family uses it on a regular basis (5 of us) and we’ve had it for a year. I’m buying one for my sister for Christmas this year she loves mine so much. I paid $69 last year and now it’s $82, but I think it’s still worth the price.

    Stay away from this product!
I bought this stepper 3 months ago, and it’s already broken! Yeah, it gives you a good sweat, but the thing is a piece of cheap junk. The pulley is made out of cheap plastic which can break easily! Now I have to wait 180 days for a new pulley, which I bet will break again! I wish I’d never brought this product! When I bought it, it was $82. It makes me cry to think I wasted $82 on this junk when I could have bought a more trustworthy stepper, even though it would have costed me a little bit more money! Trust me, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!

    Last American Action Hero…….
Steve McQueen’s The Hunter did not receive great criticism, but who cares!!!

It was McQueen’s last film. It was all about him. It was all about him doing what he does best(acting real, tough, and yet vulnerable)

McQueen is one of the last old school action movie star who possessed such a qualities. Look at those modern action movie stars today, they have no character what so ever, and they are just superficial iron pumping bodybuilders who is not even athletic in actions.

McQueen was perfectly cast as real life bounty hunter, Ralph, papa, Thorson. It was the perfectly portrayed as what real tough guy used to be like. It is sad for America that they just don’t make them like McQueen anymore,

I can only imagine/dream about how he would be developed as an actor if he didn’t pass, and yet making The Hunter would be greatest thing for his last standing……

This move also features Old cowboys like Ben Johnson, Eli Wallach (co-star of The Magnificent Seven), beautiful Kathryn Harrold, and TV Roots, LeVar Burton. I really don’t think McQueen could not ask anyone better than them.

    Entertaining in places
The pursuit scenes in this PI-genre flick were creative and riveting. The filler between them seemed mundane. The characters were believable, for the most part - tho LeVar Buton seemed to be reading his lines, and why Katheryn Harrold was attracted to McQueen’s character escaped me. The ending was a little sappy (boy gets girl and newborn, as people cheer). We’re left to wonder if his character would strive for more meaning in life as a new (unmarried)Dad. Im not looking for a sequel…

Limp final offering from the great McQueen
It must have looked like a winner on paper - the foremost action hero of his age - true life story of bounty hunter, car chases, human story, terrific cast with a real chance for acting… It’s not a disaster, but it’s a limp effort at either a character piece, a bio, or an action movie even though it has elements of all three.

The movie covers a period in the life of the real life bounty hunter (supposedly the last…) of `Papa’ Thorsen. His exploits catching various guys on the run, is contrasted with his life at home where he not only has a soft spot for lost causes, but has a beautiful wife pregnant with his child. Some semblance of drama to drive the movie along is given by one of McQueen’s ex catches getting out of jail and threatening to kill him (yawn). McQueen tries hard to go against type and add various character touches, so we get a man who drives badly and cant park properly (an in-joke on McQueen’s legendary driving skills, but taken way too far), he loves old things - vintage wind up toys, pocket watches - but with no reason other than to provide `character’. He does not like the birth classes his wife goes to - but lo and behold turns out to be a trooper in the end… It does not entirely work - instead, we are left with a recognizable (though clearly aging) McQueen with various layers of mannerisms and affections.

Supporting cast should save the day - Kathryn Harrold as the long suffering girlfriend is one of the best things in the picture. Every now and again there is a grand entrance of a character - Ben Johnson’s sheriff for example - but he then 5 minutes later vanishes without fanfare. Only Eli Wallach hovers around for the greater part of the picture, and a youthful Levar Burton, post-Roots, pre-Star Trek The Next Generation has presence, but no reason to be there.

There are a couple of interesting set pieces - the car chase in the multi storey car park, the shootout on the train - but without a plot or story to hang on, they fall flat.

Steve McQueen is almost always worth a watch, but here the vehicle for once just isn’t enough for the great man. A shame his last film was so lacklustre.

    More Blanks Than Bullits
The worst you can say about “The Hunter” is that it was unfortunately Steve McQueen’s last film. The best you can say is that it’s watchable. For sure, even in McQueen’s frail condition he oozes charisma. It’s pretty neat that his character, bounty hunter Papa Thorson, is a bad driver. It’s also cool that McQueen reteams with his “Magnificent Seven” co-star, Eli Wallach. It’s just that this is standard lukewarm action fodder. Check it out if an episode of “Mannix” isn’t on. While we’re at it will somebody put on disc “Soldier in the Rain”, “Love With the Proper Stranger”, or “An Enemy of the People.”

    Old school action hero.
Steve McQueens final film is always so refreshing to watch. It is all so very real, Steve comes through very genuine in the Hunter. I think this role fit him best, after all Steve wanted very much just to be a regular American guy. Steve always worked very hard to make his films as real as possible. I do not enjoy modern action films as much because the toughguy is usually as much as a jerk! as the villians. Steve always seemed to bring a sense of fairness and good will to his characters. His good sense of character shows through in “The Hunter”. Steve as Papa Thorsen always reminded me of my Uncle. This was the very first film I watched with my Dad in the theatre. I was nine years old. Through the years other films have faded from my memory. I will never forget “The Hunter” nor will I ever forget Steve Mcqueen, he was a class act.

    A favorite in our home
This is a great video. It shows a variety of people doing a vaariety of jobs. It shows women doing jobs as well as men. It is funny in a slapstick sort of way and yet it is educational.

In this video Dave dreams of being “Tank man Dave” and when given the opportunity to guard a tank he falls asleep. On his way to find the tank he encounters a variety of vehicles and people that are tank related.

These are fun videos and we have yet to find one in the series that we don’t like. They appeal to a variety of ages from age 3 to at least 7.

    Well worth the money. Enjoy.

    This episode is brilliant!
    from Adam C. in Herndon
This, so far has got to be my favorite Real Wheels episode! When Tank Driver Dave gets an assignment to guard an M1-A1 tank until the tank crew comes to pick it up… he loses it. One of the main features of the M1-A1 is that it has no steering wheel. One of the main gadgets of the tank is the smoke bomb launcher which allows the tankto hide behind the smoke. Also after accidently using it Dave has to do 50 push-ups. The video told me some things that I had never known about the army. For instance, I had no idea that there were any military bulldozers. But when thinks that he had lost the tank, it turns out that no enemy agents had stolen the M1-A1. It was just the tank crew. But if you’ve ever watched some certain videos in this series, you would probably notice that in some videos, that there is one phrase that Dave says alot. Like in this episode, he constentley says “no frills there”. If you know the “Marine Corps Hymm”, then at the end you’ll probably be wondering exactley “where did Dave hear the song like that?”. This episopde is brilliant!
p.s. If you”re impressed, keep in mind, I’m an 8 year old.

Perfect for your little rescue heroes
This video is part of the “Real Wheels” series. In this episode, soldier Dave longs to be “tank driver Dave!” When he gets a special assignment to guard a tank filled with top-secret gadgets, he is more than happy to do it. But Dave falls asleep on the job and loses the tank!

Little soldiers ages 3-8 will enjoy watching Dave! This particular episode is perfect for kids who have a fascination with tanks. As you follow Dave while he searches for the tank, viewers will learn all kinds of interesting facts about tanks and other military vehicles. Actual historical footage of tanks and soldiers is shown throughout the video.

(…)Dave is a likeable character! Besides being entertaining, he’s also a bit goofy :). But he exudes such enthusiasm that even adults will find themselves watching it! Besides being fun to watch, children will find themselves learning quite a bit about military vehicles.

    there goes a tank
Don’t let the recent release date sway you from buying this one! Dave is BACK! Lots of fun and learning with the typical Dave slapstick. Not as aloof as “police car”. I judge all “Dave” videos by the “firetruck” standard. This one is nearly as good as “firetruck”. Not many guests to teach viewers, but informative none the less. It’s great to have Dave back!

    Customer Reviews:
    Fresh For 1995 [4 Stars]
I pretty much agree with EJ Rupert, but the good songs on this soundtrack are so strong that they make this album damn near classic all by themselves. I gave this album 4 stars for that very reason. Though it was never released as a single, “My Block” is one of Tupac’s best songs (pre death row era is the best ‘Pac in my opinion). I don’t think there’s any question that every rap music fanatic recognizes Red and Meth’s “How High” as an unquestionable classic (and this is the grimy version of How High….not the fluffy remix). I still get open to that beat 11 years later. Though it is somewhat formulaic, “Poppa Luv It” is still a dope cut from LL Cool J. Bone Thugs N Harmony, Mary J. Blige, and Onyx contribute “Everyday Thang”, “Everday It Rains”, and “Live!!” which show each artist in vintage form in my humble opinion. Also, “Sowhatyousayin’” is the ideal west coast gangsta track in my mind. Even when you get past those great tracks, you have other bangers like “Kill Dem All” [Kali Ranks], “Glamour & Glitz” [A Tribe Called Quest], and “Still Can’t Fade It” [Warren G.] that still make for a great listening experience. Hell, even The Dove Shack blew up on the strength of “Summertime In The LBC”. And the live version of Biggie’s “Me & My B*tch” is definitely different from the studio version and it’s great. There’s plenty to love about this album.

I also agree that there are too many filler tracks. “What’s Up Star”, “Ol’ Skool”, “Domino’s In The House” and “Zoom Zooms & Wam Wam” all fall under the filler category. Actually, the filler tracks are the only things wrong on this album and I’d say that only 10% of the album is filler. The rest is bangin’.

The Show Soundtrack is definitely a worthwhile pick up for any hip hop fan. There are bangers on this album that make it a must own. If you were into hip hop around the time this came out, you remember when half of these songs were played for the first time. There are definitely some classic tracks on this album. I highly recommend it.

Also, for those of you that want more artists represented, check out the “Rhyme & Reason” soundtrack (which is pretty much similar to this, but with better collabos). You’ll find a lot of artists there too.

Standout Tracks: Poppa Luv It, My Block, Live!!!, Kill Dem All, Summertime In The LBC, How High (My Favorite), Everyday Thang, Everyday It Rains, and Me & My B*tch [Live]

    Alright (my name is O.I)
You cannot skip any song on this CD. It is a very good Cd by Russell Simmons. Ruthless, Death Row, Bad Boy,and Def Jam artists along with otehrs come to be on this CD. They are missing some artists, though. They are missing:

    Ice Cube

    Eric B and Rakim

    Busta Rhymes

    More!

    Great
Well me i’m just getting copies of every cd tupac was on. None the less there’s a bunch of stars on the album no doubt it sets the tone for how hip hop was and shows how we have evolved since then i hope russel agrees to make another for 2005 just to provide hopw things have change. Overall a great album great music and lyrics are just crazy.

    Please
EJ Rupert has a right to his own opinion, blackdragon. Get off of Bone’s d**k. Oh yeah, the soundtrack was phat.

i totally dissagree with ej rupert
everyday thang is VINTAGE bone.so ej really need to evaluate what he/she think bone sounds like.that aside from a few other trax this is the only song worth listening too.i do agree with rupert that this soundtrack is kinda off. because it doesn’t represent the time period that well.its missing artists like,

    naughty by nature das efect

    digable planets

    de la soul

    outkast

    das efect

    wu-tang

    ice cube

    why biggie has 2 songs?
