Best Christian sex manual out there!
The Wheat’s really know what they are talking about…and it was fun to read with my new husband. I would recommend this book to everyone, not just Christians, who are about to make the jump to wedded bliss. Probably better to read a month before the wedding…otherwise that first night can be like fumbling around in the dark. Highly recommended.

Wonderful and educational
This book is wonderful! I bought it just prior to my wedding. It is a bit like going back to middle school sex-ed, but it proved invaluable for the honeymoon. The authors deal expertly, honestly, and sensitively about the subject.

Too cut and dry….
I didn’t like this book. It’s well written, but really makes some statements that can’t be backed up with the Bible. Everything is cut/dry. This is this way because we think it should be this way. I would go to some other book.

Great Resource! Very clinical
The many reviews I read before purchasing this book are correct: This is a very clinical and sometimes dry book. It’s also a fantastic resource. But honestly, if you are interested in learning the basics, you shouldn’t have a hard time getting through it.

I really enjoyed this book and the emphasis on the clinical explanations of how things work. Ed Wheat is a doctor and that comes out in his technical explanations, which are especially helpful if you are having some problems in your sex life.

I would have given it 5-stars (it really is a great book) except I purchased another book as well, Getting your Sex Life Off to a Great start, and I found the other book a bit better in its explanation of the first sexual experience as well as its advice for the honeymoon.

If you are preparing for your first experience I recommend buying both books. Each book offers something that the other lacks. If you can only purchase one, I recommend the other, but both are really great resources. We are also reading through Love Life for Every Married Couple and it is important to work on all aspects of your relationship - not just the sexual aspect.

Extremely Informative!!!
Ladies, (especially Christian ladies) this book is the one you’ve been looking for. It’s very professionally done (meaning it’s not crude or offensive) and it’s very informative!!!! It also has an excellent section for women trying to get pregant with info O B Gyn offices and Fertility clinics won’t tell you!!! Tons of info from Doctor’s!!! Check it out! Brenda R

All hype, no substance
I should have read the other negative reviews before buying this book. The Passion Test is nothing more than making a list of 10 things you like and then whittling it down. No insight, no creativity, no help.

One thing is clear: The author’s passion is marketing pap to the pseudo-spiritual seekers. Save your money.

I wanted to believe
I received this as a recommendation from T. Harv Eker so I naturally was excited to read the book. I really wanted to believe but at the end I felt that it didn’t really teach me anything. God bless this woman for her treks to India and wherever.. but it didn’t really help to answer any deep questions for me.

If you are drawn to this book I believe there are certainly better options to help you find your path. Although this may speak differently to certain people.

Surprisingly pleased
I bought this book because it was recommended to me by someone I trust, but upon starting to read it, I was almost convinced I would return it. Among other things, the writing style is a mess, the voice of the narrator keeps shifting, the design with purple bars down the margins and purple boxes for different texts is irritating. However, I kept reading because I got caught up in the story of the Jane Attwood’s trip to India, and I was intrigued about the Passion Test: a method to discover the 5 top things you are passionate about and how to achieve them in your life.

I found the test to be incredibly helpful to me. I am a woman in my mid-30s with a relatively successful career, but I feel that I have always been uncommitted to my profession. Taking the Passion Test helped me to clarify my goals, realize what I like and dislike about my job, and motivate me towards further career growth. It also helped me for personal growth as well, but it was really insight into my professional life that blew me away and made me decide that this is a book worth having around.

One of the things that I like best about this book is that it advocates an active approach to life. Other books that emphasize positive thinking seem to focus on patience and passive acceptance. As a goal-oriented person, I like to take the bull by the horns and set things in motion myself, not wait for them to happen. In that respect, this book is a great motivator.

This book takes as a point of departure the belief in a higher power. It is not for atheists or skeptics. It is regrettable that the negative reviews of this book are what people find the most helpful. Clearly, The Passion Test is not for everyone and could have done with more careful editing, but it is a book that will help people that are at a crossroads in their life, that need to make crucial decisions, and/or that need a little push to propel them towards the road to success.

life-changing tool
This book is an excellent “road map” to piggy-back on The Secret. In understanding the concepts represented in The Secret, it can leave you feeling…..”Great idea - how do I figure out what I want to be?” The Passion Test helps break the exploration into smaller pieces and “holds your hand” through the process.

I have started a group based around these two books, and will be certifying this summer to become a Passion Test Facilitator…….these concepts are literally life-changing.

Put down the tabloids and embrace 2 books that can change your life. Good luck!

Passion test review
I have the cd’s. I really enjoyed the first part of the passion test and found the information useful. Listening to the people talk towards the end was nice but not something that will help me lead a life of passion. Sometimes it is hard to image living a life of passion without concern for the money. As they say it will follow. Money is an item that is needed to live in our world. If you don’t have any passions that will create money I think it would be hard to follow just living for passion.

not bad at all
Its defn different from the year and half…. video.I had the same apprehensions before I got it coz I own that video and did not want to see the same footage.However this video is a retrospective look into the making of the album where the band discuss their apprehensions - in hindsight while making the album.The 11/2 years video captures an entirely different perspective.The most poignant portion of this video to me,is where Newsted introduces the bass line to My friend of Misery and he seems to be nearly choking when he says that this intro was his first contribution to the bands music in the 5 years he was with them.It was defn a sign of things to come.The DVD is worth the purchase if you are a hardcore Metallica fan.

This is strictly an interview with metalica,It is not a music video so dont be fooled by the cover.I bought it and got screwed.

Alright
Its alright but i knew all the information ahead of time before watching it but u strongly recommend getting a year and a half in the life of metallica it has the same information but it goes more into detail and is alot longer

An interesting watch
Was really wanting some actual full length music videos allong with this but it did not deliver. When the cover says “cuts from” thats what they mean. It was interesting to watch to see how the band started with thir first album and how they progressed. Seems like I would have watched this on “Behind the Music”. Man I wish they had included the actual music videos on this. Why did they classify this as UMD Music when all it is is a documentary.

So all you get is the main feature running about 40 something minutes going over the five singles from the Black Album. Enter Sandman, Sad but True, The Unforgiven, Wherever I may roam, and Nothing Else Matters. And it has Im guessing another 40 something minutes in some additional interviews.

It wouldn’t have taken much to put the actual music or even the video’s on this UMD MUSIC selection.

Kinda dissapointed but still an innteresting watch. You do get to hear some of the origional riffs and clips of the progression of the making of the songs.

One Of The Best Music DVDS On The Market
Metallica’s self-titled DVD on one of their albums, which is known as “The Black Album”( album is actually self-titled, but because the front and back of the album is all black, it earned it’s reputation as “The Black Album”)is one of the best music DVDS on the market. This DVD goes behind the scenes into the making of the album; there are interviews with band members James Hetfield, Jason Newsted, Kirk Hammet, Lars Ulrich, and producer Bob Rock. You get to listen to previously unheard demo recordings, and the five singles off of “The Black Album” are on this DVD: “Enter Sandman”, “Holier Than Thou”, “Sad But True”, “The Unforgiven”, and “Nothing Else Matters”. I also enjoyed the exteneded interviews for the DVD, and it was very interesting when James Hetfield told the behind the scenes stories for when he wrote “Nothing Else Matters” and “The God That Failed”. Hetfield also talked about how he and the band members in Metallica faced difficulties in their childhoods( parents getting divorced, family members dying)and how music was what guided them through all the tough times in their childhoods. If you enjoyed “The Black Album”, you definitely don’t want to miss the DVD.
