    Customer Reviews:
Sticky residue; charger plug gets hot
Right after opening the package, I was not impressed. When I removed the screen protector from the transmitter unit, it left a sticky residue behind. Maybe this is because of the humidity and temperature today, but they should use a different adhesive on the screen protector.

The charger runs hot. Like another reviewer suggested, maybe it would be better to get a separate charger and transmitter.

I initially tested it in my living room with my main stereo. I was not impressed with the audio quality of the transmitter. (I have a power supply with a cigarette jack that runs off 120 VAC.)

    iTrip used with iPhone 3G
I have used the iTrip with my iPhone 3G for a week now and I am pleased. I read a lot of the reviews and was concerned. My overall cost was ~$9, so not much risk.

It has charged the iPhone while playing songs and podcasts. The ONE thing that prevents me from giving 5STARS, and 4STARS may be too high, is that I have found static noise feedback intermittantly when I traveled through the EDGE network. I have had no problems whatsoever when in 3G network.

The static feedback noise is the same I have heard before with my iPhone on the EDGE when walking by some speaker devices (Speaker phones, under the cabinet radio in my mom’s kitchen, etc..)

Well worth $9, but I would have been very disappointed if I paid $50. I am thinking about getting another to keep in my wifes vehicle.

    just so so
The frequency selected (such as 87.7) is not stable. It will automatically stoped 3 minutes after frequency set.

    What I wanted.
For a refurbished item, this thing works quite well, but if you want a top shelf product this is by no means it. It has a decent signal, but gets really fuzzy if you crank your mp3 player to max volume. It is working like I wanted it to, but again, if you want something with more quality, I’m sure you can find it elsewhere.

The USB Charger is great but substandard sound quality.
The USB charger is convenient, allowing me to charge virtually any electronic device with a USB compatible adapter, while on the go.

However, the audio quality from the FM transmitter is below what I am comfortable listening to.

A great device, but audio quality cannot compete with CD or Direct Input audio quality.

If I was aware of the audio quality before purchasing this product I most likely would not have purchased it.
