Canasta Caliente Rummy
This is basically a beefed up version of Rummy. My friends and I love this game and play it almost every time the four of us get together. The only down side is you really only can play it with four people. If you have a larger crowd you’d have to find a different game. Like Guestures… love that game, too!

Not User Friendly
These cards have a finish that does not allow for easy dealing or handling. Ours were stiff and did not become flexible with use, as we had hoped. I donated them to GoodWill and purchased a well-known brand (Bicycle). What a difference!

Canasta is great, but buy the standard version!
Canasta is a great game and is a lot of fun!! I would suggest buying the standard version though. The Deluxe Caliente version comes with a goofy plastic card holder that is not worth using, and four negative bonus cards that make it “Caliente”. We threw those cards out after a few games. Buy the cheaper one. It’s just the same- only without the expensive gimmicks.

New version of Canasta?
The game comes without any instructions…the first game I’ve ever purchased in my life without any. Fortunately, I know how to play canasta, but this set introduces a new “hot” card for a variation in play. Problem is, no direction as to how it is used.

Canasta game is the greatest
The Canasta Game is great, so much better to play than using regular decks of cards. My husband caught right on and now we play all the time. I highly recomend it for families of all ages.
